About XBio

The high-fidelity bio link platform for creators who demand more than just buttons.

What XBio is

XBio gives a creator a single hosted page at xbio.gg/<username> that collects every link they want to share. Unlike a plain link list, an XBio profile renders a real-time GLSL background effect, can react to audio, tracks per-link click analytics, awards XP as visitors arrive, and can collect email subscribers with double opt-in. Profiles are free; a $5/month Pro tier adds up to five profiles, custom domains, full analytics, A/B link testing, outbound webhooks, and email blasts. A credit-based shop sells individual cosmetic upgrades to free accounts.

It started as a personal frustration: every link-in-bio tool produced the same page of flat buttons, and none of them told you anything useful about who was clicking. XBio is the version of that product built for people whose page is part of their brand - so the background is a real shader, the analytics go past a view counter, and the whole thing is free to use before you spend anything.

Who it is for

  • Someone needs one shareable URL that holds all of their links. Creators, streamers, musicians, artists, developers, and gamers who are asked for 'the link in my bio'. XBio hosts the page; there is nothing to deploy.
  • A plain link list is not enough and the page has to look distinctive. XBio renders animated WebGL backgrounds (13 shader effects), custom fonts, cursors, particles, and per-element animations. Reach for it when visual identity is the point.
  • Someone is moving off Linktree. Paste a Linktree URL at /import and XBio pulls the display name, bio, avatar, and links across in one step.
  • A link page needs measurement, not just presence. Per-link click tracking, referrer and UTM attribution, country breakdown, hourly and weekly trends, A/B tested link variants, and CSV export.
  • A creator wants to collect email subscribers from their bio link. Built-in double opt-in capture form, subscriber list, one-off blasts, and multi-step drip sequences - no separate email tool to wire up.
  • The page needs to be restricted. Profiles can be password protected, hidden from discovery, or blocked for visitors from specific countries.
  • A creator wants their own domain on a hosted bio page. Pro profiles can be served from a custom domain with automatic TLS.

What it is not

Being clear about the edges saves everyone time:

  • You need a multi-page website, blog, or store - XBio hosts one page per profile, not a site.
  • You need to publish or update profiles programmatically - there is no public write API; profiles are edited by their signed-in owner at /editor.
  • You need to buy or sell physical goods - the shop sells cosmetic upgrades for your own profile only.
  • You need a payout in money from theme sales - creator revenue is paid in XBio credits, which are spendable on the platform and have no cash value.

How it works

  1. 01Claim a usernameSign up with email, a magic link, Google, or GitHub, then pick a handle. Your page is live at xbio.gg/<username> straight away - nothing to deploy, no DNS to configure.
  2. 02Make it yoursAdd links, embed Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, SoundCloud or TikTok, pick one of thirteen real-time WebGL background effects, and set fonts, cursors, particles and button styles. Changes publish the moment you save.
  3. 03Share it and watch what happensEvery view and click is recorded against the profile: which links get pressed, where visitors came from, which country they are in, and how an A/B tested link variant performs. Visitors award XP, which raises your level and unlocks cosmetic perks.

What it costs

  • Free - $0. One profile, up to 20 links, free VFX effects, basic view and click counts, email capture, password protection, QR export.
  • Pro - $5/month or $45/year. Five profiles, every premium shop item unlocked, custom domains, full analytics with country data, A/B link testing, email blasts, outbound webhooks, CSV export, and no XBio branding.
  • Credits. In-platform currency for individual shop items. 100 credits is about $1, bought through Stripe. Credits do not expire and have no cash value outside XBio.

Who runs it

XBio is an independent product, built and operated by its founder since 2026. It is not backed by an ad network and does not sell visitor data - analytics belong to the creator whose profile produced them, and visitor IP addresses are hashed on arrival and never stored raw. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept and for how long.

Support runs through support@xbio.gg and the contact form, and we aim to reply within one business day. Live service status is at xbio.gg/status.
