Feature

Collect email subscribers from your link in bio

Followers belong to the platform you found them on. An email list belongs to you. XBio puts a subscribe form on your profile and gives you the tools to write to the people who join, without wiring up a separate email service.

How it works

  1. Switch on the email capture widget in the editor.
  2. Visitors enter their address on your profile and receive a confirmation email.
  3. They only join your list once they click it: that is double opt-in, and it keeps typos and fake sign-ups out.
  4. Confirmed subscribers appear in the Email tab, where you can export the list.

Writing to your list

  • One-off email blasts to every confirmed subscriber (Pro). Each message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Multi-step drip sequences with a delay in days and a subject and body for each step. Steps are delivered by a daily job, so a step goes out on the first run after it is due: up to about a day later than its nominal moment.
  • Subscribe to unlock: hold your links back until a visitor subscribes, which turns the page itself into the incentive.

What subscribers can expect

Unsubscribed addresses never receive another blast. Subscribers are only emailed after they confirm, and you can delete your account and all of its data from the editor settings.

Questions

What is double opt-in?
A new subscriber gets a confirmation email and is added only after clicking the link in it. It protects your list quality and your sender reputation.
Is email capture free?
The subscribe widget and subscriber list are included on the free plan. Sending email blasts to your list is a Pro feature.
How fast are drip emails sent?
Drip steps are delivered by a job that runs once a day, so each step goes out on the first run at or after its due time.
