A/B test, schedule and set goals for your links

Your top link gets most of the clicks, so its wording matters. XBio lets you test it instead of guessing, and gives you a few other ways to make a page respond to what is happening this week.

What you can control

  • A/B variants (Pro): give a link an alternate label and URL. Visitors are randomly shown one version, each visitor keeps seeing the same one, and analytics show which performs better.
  • Scheduled links: set a start and end date and the link appears only between them. Good for a launch, a sale or a livestream.
  • Click goals: set a target and a progress bar shows how close the link is to it.
  • Link groups (Pro): sort links under collapsible headers such as Music and Social.
  • Drag-and-drop ordering in the editor.

Reading the results

The Stats tab shows click-through rate per link and the performance of each A/B variant. A heatmap lays click counts over your live link layout so you can see at a glance which positions earn attention.

Limits worth knowing

A profile holds up to 20 links on both free and Pro plans. Pro raises the number of profiles you can have, not the link count.

Questions

Is A/B testing for links free?
A/B variants are a Pro feature. Scheduling links and click goals are not restricted by that.
Will the same visitor see both versions?
No. Assignment is stable per visitor, so someone who reloads the page keeps seeing the version they were given.
How many links can I have?
Up to 20 per profile, on free and Pro alike.
