Feature

Private, unlisted and restricted link in bio pages

Not every page is meant for everyone. XBio profiles can be kept out of search engines, locked behind a password, restricted by country, or gated behind a subscription.

The controls

  • Unlisted: the profile does not appear in Explore or the sitemap and is not indexed by search engines. It still works for anyone with the link.
  • Password protection: visitors must enter a passphrase before they see anything. The links are not sent to the browser until the password is accepted.
  • Geo-restriction (Pro): block visitors from up to 50 countries. Blocked visitors see a notice instead of the profile.
  • Subscribe to unlock: with email capture on, your links stay hidden until a visitor subscribes. Locked pages show how many links there are, never the URLs.

Your data

You can export your profile, links, theme and subscriber list as JSON, or delete your account and everything attached to it, from the editor settings. Two-factor authentication is available on the account page.

Questions

Will an unlisted profile show up on Google?
No. It is excluded from Explore and the sitemap and marked so search engines do not index it. Anyone with the direct link can still open it.
Can search engines read a password-protected page?
No. Until the correct password is entered, the page contains only the password prompt.
How do I delete everything?
Editor, Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account. It permanently removes your profiles, links, subscribers and purchase history.
