Feature

Buy, apply and sell link in bio themes

A theme is a finished design: background effect, colours, fonts, button style and the rest, saved as a package someone else can start from. The marketplace is where creators publish them and everyone else can buy one instead of building from scratch.

Buying and applying a theme

  1. Buy a theme on the marketplace. It goes into your library and unlocks the paid shop items it uses.
  2. Open the editor, go to the Theme tab and choose Apply a Purchased Theme.
  3. The design loads into the editor as a single step you can undo with Cmd+Z. Nothing goes live until you press Save.

What to know before you buy

  • A theme costs at least as much as the shop items inside it, so it is never cheaper than buying the parts.
  • Accounts without Pro get the theme without its Pro-only settings. The listing and the purchase dialog name exactly which ones before you pay.
  • Themes are not exclusive: other people can own the same one.

Selling a theme

Publishing is a Pro feature. You earn 80% of the design fee, meaning the price above the cost of the shop items inside it, paid in XBio credits. Credits can be spent on the platform; they are not a cash payout.

A design is locked once it has sold, so buyers always get what they saw. You can still change its name, description and price.

Questions

Do I get paid in money when my theme sells?
No. Creator earnings are paid in XBio credits, which can be spent in the shop and marketplace and have no cash value outside XBio.
Does buying a theme change my profile?
Not by itself. You apply it from the editor's Theme tab, can undo it, and nothing is public until you save.
Can I buy a theme without Pro?
Yes. You get the design without its Pro-only settings, and the listing tells you which those are before you buy.
